Ayesha and Lorenzo’s wedding was a beautiful reflection of love, faith, and family. Due to the Covid restrictions at the time, their nikah ceremony was held at the family home in Mthatha, creating an atmosphere of closeness and sincerity. Surrounded by loved ones, the sacred vows were exchanged in a setting that honoured tradition while embracing the intimacy of home. After the ceremony, I was treated to the most delicious briyani for lunch — a meal that carried with it the warmth of hospitality and the joy of celebration. The day continued with a beautiful reception at the Hotel Savoy, where elegance and festivity came together. Family and friends gathered to honour the couple, filling the space with laughter, heartfelt speeches, and blessings for their journey ahead.
